To this end, we are developing a new system, and you will also receive some advice here.

Dance evenings usually start at 6 pm, we hold beginner dance lessons between 6-8 pm, from now on we will also announce in advance which dancer(s) we will teach in the given lesson. Every dance evening is taught by a dance teacher who can be knocked on with wishes. After the beginner block, the usual club day begins, where we learn more advanced dances, repeat, prepare for our performances, or just dance for fun.

Some good advice for those catching up

It is very important that you practice the dances you have learned at home. You can find music and videos on the internet, we can help with this right now, but soon our own video library will be fully completed. I can tell you from experience: you can’t master the steps by practicing at dance parties, or you can only master them after a very long time. Believe me, it depends much less on talent – even our advanced dancers can thank their knowledge for obsessive repetition at home.

You can go to any advanced dancer at a dance party to ask for help. They will be happy to practice with you, or they will even teach you privately, in the auditorium or in the corner of the room, so that you don’t disturb the dancers. If you already know a dance but are unsure, you can also ask for an advanced dancer to stand next to you and help you with instructions while you dance. But don’t expect us to stop the evening for your pleasure and teach you a beginner’s dance at 8 pm – that’s what the catch-up class at the beginning of the evening is for.

If you need music for your home practice, make a list of the songs, bring a pendrive, and we’ll save it for you. If you don’t know exactly which music goes with which dance, look in the “choreographies” menu – or feel free to ask a bison.

Finally, an important note about the “supporter fee”:

The club only charges a supporter fee. We ask for the occasional or monthly payment because we have to pay a serious rental fee for the use of the hall at our club. Of course, it is also a fact that the board and operational members do not receive any compensation for their dedicated work, for collecting the choreographies and for teaching them to us. This is also true for the advanced dancers who hold the catch-up classes: their pure enthusiasm and goodwill are their motivation, and their payment is the many fun moments spent with beginners and the feeling of success. Therefore, please never forget that you did not pay yourself a dance teacher, but contributed to the rental fee of the hall, which you yourself use on club days.

The core of the Wild Buffalo Linedance Club is the twenty-some dancers who came together because of the love of line dancing, music and the whole western feeling. We are very happy if you feel comfortable among us, but we do not consider it our job to entertain you – it is up to you to progress at your own pace. Within the framework described here, you will receive all the help you need to quickly catch up.

[21,1,5
639,638,201
post-517","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-curiosity","category-news","category-featured","tag-alapozo","tag-beginner-dancer","tag-kezdo-tancos
["GET
